A young fan of a popular television series navigates the trauma his (or her) family is enduring by comparing the trials and tribulations of the show's characters to circumstances in his actual life. Living in a once-perfect neighborhood, the young fan finds that he must combat "Zombies" (addicts) who have invaded the area. The line between reality and fantasy begins to fade as the world he once knew crumbles. Can he survive the end of the world, and what sacrifices must be made to ensure the safety of his family?
With a cast of nine and the option to add extra zombies, this play is flexible enough for a classroom production or contest play.
