King Deramo, seeking true love, is tricked by his evil Prime Minister Tartaglia into a body swap using magic. Tartaglia, now in the King's body, intends to marry Angeline, who loves the real Deramo. Through a series of magical events involving a parrot, an old man, and a host of fun characters, Deramo eventually regains his body and exposes Tartaglia for the evil trickster he is.
